Legislative Agenda and Budget Recommendations

Colorado NAHRO is one of six states that make up the Mountain Plains Regional Council of NAHRO (Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming). Each year, Mountain Plains NAHRO prepares a Legislative Agenda that members use to highlight their program priorities and budget concerns for the coming year. Members attending the annual NAHRO Legislative Conference in Washinton DC use the Agenda to guide discussions with Congressional Representatives that they visit.

Mountain Plains NAHRO has compiled a listing of Senate and House Bills that are of interest to our membership as of March 1, 2010. We have also included our funding recommendations for the coming fiscal year.

State Impact Summary

Colorado NAHRO has prepared a state impact summary that is used to highlight the affordable housing situation in Colorado from the perspective of housing authorities. This piece, along with the Mountain Plains NAHRO Legislative Agenda and the National NAHRO Legislative Agenda is presented to Congressional leaders from Colorado in March or early April during the NAHRO Legislative Conference.
